Red wine from France, Bordeaux, A.O.C. Bordeaux, A.O.C. Pessac-Léognan
Château de Rochemorin 2015 is a balanced, rich and powerful red wine which will delight you with its slightly tiled garnet red color. In the past, the Château was the property of the famous philosopher Montesquieu and the latter made himself the spokesperson for these red wines with French notables but also across Europe. Over time, each of the vintages has managed to offer a beautiful aromatic expression and has lived up to its appellation of controlled origin Pessac Léognan . For the 2015 vintage, the dryness and high temperatures accompanied the ripening of the grapes. This was done in optimal conditions thanks to the nocturnal freshness which contrasted with the daytime heat. It was chosen to blend 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon in order to satisfy the taste buds of both amateurs and seasoned.
On the nose, this Château de Rochemorin 2015 reveals notes of jammy red fruit (strawberry) and complemented by touches of spice (white pepper). This tasty bouquet announces a nice balance in the mouth. The attack is intended to be soft and supple. The medium is powerfully elegant before giving way to a long finish accompanied by aromas of black fruit (morello cherry).
At the table, this red Pessac Léognan 2015 wine goes perfectly with grilled beef tenderloin or pork tenderloins, for example.
