Black Wolf BIO – Red Wine
Red wine from France, Pic-Saint-Loup
Red wine from France, Pic-Saint-Loup
: Black Wolf is a red wine originating from a territory located north of Montpellier and 30 km from the Mediterranean coast, in the middle of the scrubland area. It is thanks to the enjoyment of an exceptional climate that Black Wolf has the Pic-Saint-Loup appellation. Indeed, it is as close as possible to the mountains that the grape varieties of this wine have been grown on deep, filtering limestone soil. Syrah, mourvèdre and black grenache have been blended following the traditional winemaking method. Good temperature control was also essential to make a quality wine with good acidity.
Black Wolf should be served at a temperature of 16° C to enjoy its full potential. Its name is then well chosen as it has a bewitching colour worthy of the fascination one can feel for a wolf. Its colour is purple, intense and accentuated by purple reflections. Its aromatic nose displays notes of ripe black fruits. On the palate, feel all the personality of the Pic-Saint-Loup with a harmonious and long persistence. The tannins are ripe and well integrated and you will see a beautiful freshness appear. It is a pure pleasure to taste this organic red wine with grilled beef ribs or good cheeses.
