Red wine from the Rhône Valley, vintage 2019, Paul Jaboulet Aîné
Red wine from France, A.O.P. Côtes du Rhône Villages - Vintage 2017
A wine named by the son of the winemaker Laurent Daniel , Florentin . A Plan of God typical of grapes. The grapes come from a lot of wine on the terraces of the Plan de Dieu with the characteristic stones of the village of Violès. The grapes (Grenache and Syrah) were picked by hand and then fermented with wild yeast in separate cement vats at low temperature. Storage also took place in a cement tank for 8 months before bottling.
Côtes du Rhône Village Plan de Dieu classic and very full-bodied with a long finish. This wine is typical of grapes with ripe black berries and pleasant, balanced tannins. Excellent, accompanied by rich stews and grilled meat dishes.
Wines from the south of the Rhône are for a reason one of the most popular red wines in the world. The climate of the region is perfect for the Grenache grape which thrives perfectly with hot summers and the arid landscape. The grape is often mixed with two other grape varieties typical of the region: Syrah and Mourvèdre .
