Red wine from France, Appellation IGP Vaucluse - Vintage 2021
It was in 2001 that Laurent Daniel , former Export Sales Manager in a wine business, took over this 23 hectare family vineyard. Housed in an old farmhouse resembling a Bastide, some elements date from the 17th century. The vineyard is very fragmented and spread over 6 municipalities. It is used to produce AOP Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Côtes du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu, Côtes du Rhône and IGP Vin de Pays de Vaucluse wines.
The Bastide Saint-Vincent is located in Vaucluse, in the southern Rhône valley . The cultivation of the vine is reasonable and respects the environment. Yields are limited. This is characterized by the use of organic fertilizers, a majority of old vines and manual harvesting. However, the quality is there.
The daughter of the winegrower, Garance, lent her name to this complex blend: Caladoc 30%, Marselan 30%, Carignan 20%, Grenache 10% and Syrah 10% . It is a lovely wine, supple and fruity on the nose, with aromas of red fruits, spicy and scents of undergrowth.
Served slightly chilled (between 14 and 16 ° C), Mlle Garance will go well with everyday cooking: salads, raw vegetables, white meats, grilled meats.
