Who is behind Enolia?

Enolia is a company incorporated under Belgian law, registered in the Belgian commercial register. It is not, as it is often the case on the internet, a large European multi-national (or not) with just an online sales platform in Belgium and processing millions of orders annually by pretending to act locally.

Our employees are Belgian and our products are stored in Belgium. Orders are prepared by us in Belgium also from our ware house in Chaumont-Gistoux.

How is the wine stored?

At Enolia, we only sell wine that we know and offer after having tasted and chosen it. We do not sell the stock of others and we regularly monitor our entire range. We store the wine and send it to you afterwards. From storage to shipping by bpost (if you choose this delivery method), only Enolia employees handle the products.

What is your expertise?

Wine is above all a matter of taste and sharing. We don’t claim to have a monopoly on taste or to know better than others which wine is good or excellent. We choose wines that resemble you and look like you and that we believe have the criteria to be convivial, interesting to taste and share. Sometimes they have a story to tell, often they open the door to moments of pleasure and meeting with friends or family.

For the most demanding, we are also expanding our range of great reference wines, which everyone knows and which are known to be excellent. After ... it remains a very subjective vision. At Enolia, there is no snobbery, the wine is good when you like it, when it pleases you, when it corresponds to what your mouth expects and your friends appreciate.

How can I contact you?

The website is the first way to contact us. That’s why we have developed an online chat application that allows you to contact us directly, in real time, directly from the Enolia site. The chat app is available on all of our pages, bottom right. Click on the arrow, send your message and you're connected! This feature is mainly available during our store's business hours.

Is the site secure?

Our entire site uses SSL security at all times. This means that as soon as you arrive at the Enolia site, all your transactions are encrypted and that no one but you and Enolia can access them. This concerns your surfing and of course all the more "critical" operations which you can perform such as encoding your personal data, placing an order and paying for it.

The website and all the partner modules that allow us to perform our transactions are 100% secure.

How secure are the payments?

The entire Enolia website is secured by the SSL protocol. More specifically, the steps concerning the payment are also protected and encrypted by totally secure encryption algorithms. These methods of protection are the same as those used by financial or government organizations and meet the same security criteria.

At Enolia, your security is our priority when you pay online. We work with the partner Mollie which allows us to provide you with secure interfaces made available directly by your bank.

If you choose to pay by debit card, at no time during the ordering process, neither Enolia, nor anyone else, has access to your payment data. This happens directly between you and your bank.

The same applies if you choose to pay by Paypal or by credit card.

Will my data remain confidential?

Yes, all your data that you encode when registering or when ordering on the Enolia website is totally secure by SSL and kept on a completely secure server.

We only use your data for the processing of your orders and - if you have specifically requested and accepted it - in order to ensure the proper management of the commercial relations between us.

You remain the owner and master of your data and you have the right to view, modify and delete it. For any information or request in this regard, simply contact us.

How can I pay for my order?

Can i pay by bank transfer

Yes, without any problem. However, in order to speed up the processing of orders and reduce administrative work, we strongly advice our customer to prefer immediate payment methods.

Can I get an invoice?

Yes, and you don't have to do anything for that. When you register to place the order, you will be asked to enter your billing address which may or may not be different from your delivery address.

When entering this information, be sure to fill in all the fields correctly, including the VAT number if you have one.

All our orders are always accompanied by a full invoice.

You can also view all the history of your invoices in your accounts on the Enolia website.

How do I know if my order is validated?

After your payment has been confirmed by our banking partner, your order is automatically validated and confirmed. You then receive a confirmation notice on the screen and especially a confirmation email containing the unique reference number of your order. At any time, you can consult your current orders and the history of all your orders in your personal account.

If you don't receive this email, check your spam folder. If you can't find it, just contact us.

What should I do if there is an error in my order?

We do our utmost to process your orders as meticulously as possible. But an error can always creep into our logistics process. In case of error or problem with your order, contact us without delay through the website or, during shop opening hours by phone on 010 / 40.01.99 and we will help you immediately.

How long will it take to receive my order?

If the articles of your order are in stock in our shop, the order will be prepared directly and you will be delivered within 7 working days maximum (often much less!).

If certain items are not in stock, you will receive your order within 14 working days maximum.

We are always doing everything to shorten the deadlines. Unlike other webshops that sell wine like we sell nails or smartphones, in a fully automated way, we treat wine with the utmost respect and we handle bottles and crates exclusively manually. This can sometimes slow down logistics a little, but it is a guarantee for our customers that Enolia products have been treated with respect and caution.

What if my package is damaged?

When you receive your order, if the packaging has been damaged or it does not appear to you to be in perfect condition, you must indicate this to your deliverer person so that he can note it in his system. If bottles are clearly broken, you must refuse the package and ask that it be returned to the sender. If this happens, please contact us directly so that we can arrange an exchange or refund.

What are my options for receiving my order?

If you live in Belgium, you have the opportunity to:

  • pick up your order in store completely free of charge;
  • have your order delivered directly to your home or office;
  • have your order delivered to a bpost relay point;
  • have your order delivered to a bpost package distributor (parcel locker)

If you live in France, you have the opportunity to have your order delivered directly to your home or office.

The delivery is free from 250 € including tax and VAT purchase on our site.

Is delivery free?

In internet commerce, delivery is actually never free ... the merchant who indicates that delivery is free, simply includes the cost of this delivery in his selling price.

Many e-commerce platforms selling wine do this and therefore make a profit on the sales of wine and logistics.

At Enolia, we have made a bet to sell you wine at an affordable and fair price and not to sell transportation.

However, we know that in the wine industry, transport is very expensive since the product is by definition fragile, heavy and complicated to pack and transport.

We therefore offer a simple policy for delivery costs when delivery is not in promotion. All our delivery prices are detailed on our "delivery and shipping costs" page.
