La Criée du Port cuvée prestige millésimée by Nicolas Vellas is a white wine that has everything to please. It draws its pale yellow colour from the gewurztraminer and viognier grape varieties, both from stony clayey-limestone Languedoc hillsides. The prestige of this vintage lies in the meticulous work carried out by the winemaker, in the choice of grape varieties picked at the right maturity and in breeding. Gewurztraminer is a typical Alsace grape variety that has made its way in the Languedoc region. It ensures a balance and a beautiful aromatic intensity when associated with Viognier, a rather creamy grape variety. The production of this wine La Criée du Port by Nicolas Vellas has followed the rules of traditional winemaking.
