PRESENTATION:
The Loire River flows in Touraine for nearly 100 km, receiving the Cher, the Indre, and the Vienne in the south, the Cisse and the Brenne in the north. All these valleys are being drawn, with their hillsides covered with vineyards. Touraine Sauvignon can only be produced with a single grape variety: the Sauvignon.
Terroir: Clay - Sand.
Vinification: Traditional maturing in thermoregulated stainless steel vats.
Colour: An attractive pale yellow colour with green reflections.
Nose: Typical Sauvignon, exotic fruits, vegetal and floral notes (hawthorn, acacia, honeysuckle).
Palate: The mouth is ample and acidulous, with a mineral note. It will give a nice length for an immediate pleasure. This is a superb well-structured Sauvignon.
Serving temperature: Cool 10 °C.
Food suggestions: As an aperitif, fish, seafood (oysters), white meat, chicken aiguillettes, quiche Lorraine, andouillette.
