L'audacieux Côteaux Bourguignons – Red wine
Red Wine from Bourgogne (France) - Bourgogne - AOP Côteaux Bourguignons
Red Wine from Bourgogne (France) - Bourgogne - AOP Côteaux Bourguignons
The audacious Côteaux Bourguignons is a red wine made from a controlled designation of origin common to the Burgundy vineyard. This brings together 4 departments: Yonne, Côte d'Or, Saône et Loire and the Rhône. This union makes it possible to pool skills and values in order to improve the characteristics of the wines of this promising terroir. The Cave Chaintré is the vineyard that produces this wine with great persistence and made from 100% of a single grape variety: Gamay noir . The vines grew on a territory made up of granite and sand. The harvest was done manually and the aging was done in stainless steel tanks.
The daring Côteaux Bourguignons reveals a ruby red color. On the nose, red cherry and strawberry flavors mingle to characterize this very expressive palette. The palate is round, supple and well balanced with a vanilla background. Ideally, it is advisable to serve this red Burgundy wine at a temperature between 13 and 14 ° C. The tasting can be done immediately or after 2 to 3 years of aging to increase the aromas tenfold.
This red wine is perfect with a beef bourguignon, a fish or an omelet with bacon and mushrooms.
