Ardevi Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore is Nino Ardevi's first wine. The grapes used in this blend are Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone which come from our award-winning vineyards in Bassano del Grappa, Oslavia and Oddizzano .
These vineyards are cultivated by hand and certified biodynamic, which promotes cultivation in harmony with nature.
During a period of twelve months, the wine undergoes a very light malolactic fermentation; the aromas of wild fruits, spices and fresh flowers resulting from this process contribute to the complex bouquet that emerges on your palate.
The Ardevi family winery is located in the Po Valley, a few kilometers from Verona, in the heart of the famous Valpolicella region. It stands on terraced hills planted with vines that slope down to the Adige River, giving off an impression of great fertility and infinity. The vineyards were planted on morainic sandstone soils, very permeable, which retain heat during hot periods and are particularly suitable for growing grapes.
