French Rosé wine, AOP Coteaux Varois en Provence
Located in the heart of Provence, Favorite Château whose vineyard is located in the heart of "Green Provence", evolves in an ideal location, surrounded by greenery.
Its terroir is perfectly suited to the cultivation of wine. Her name "Favorite" means in Latin "what is favorable". Its location has long been known to man and has shown some interest throughout history.
According to the "we say", rosé was invented in Provence. The vines had already been planted by the Romans to make rosé. Agriculture experienced tremendous growth thanks to the Templars, shortly before the time of Napoleon. Moreover, the kilometers of terraces and remains of the drainage and irrigation systems punctuate the area. It was later generations of winegrowers who made this heritage last, by selling their crops to a local merchant.
On tasting, its color is light, shiny with a touch of rosé . The record is clear. On the nose, you can smell the scent of citrus fruits and Mediterranean spices . It is very floral. On the palate, it is fine, delicate and there is a medium to high acidity. Its attack is frank and fresh with a long finish. The blend is composed of Grenache which brings gluttony, Syrah to set a beautiful pink color with bluish undertones and white to give it a floral character and create a unique ensemble with Rolle.
Its agriculture is organic and the harvest is done at night to keep the freshness, with a south-east slope. The pressing is direct and the fermentation takes place at 16 °. It is a typical wine from the Coteaux Varois .
It can be enjoyed as an aperitif with raw vegetables and seafood. It will also be delicious when tasting sea bass with summer vegetables accompanied by fennel and olives.
