Sweet White Wine from France, PGI Tolosan
Saperlipompette Tolosan is a soft white wine, delicate and rich at the same time. It is distinguished by its Protected Geographical Indication Tolosan, which promises breeding in the Southwest of France. Sauvignon and Muscadelle are the two grape varieties combined to make the contents of this bottle. They are grown on clay-limestone soil among hillsides and alluvial soils. As concerned with winemaking, the process consisted of a cold-based pre- fermentative maceration, which included a high degree of temperature control.
Saperlipompette Tolosan can be enjoyed well chilled (ideal serving temperature: 8° C.) as an aperitif, with foie gras, a fruit tart or a chocolate cake... What a pleasure to have! In addition, its humorous name and its beautiful golden yellow colour will delight lovers of evenings based on sweet white wines.
This wine from the Vellas vineyards has a round, delicious, sweet and fruity mouth feel. The Muscadelle has the particularity of offering nuances of exotic fruits in the nose. The natural acidity of Sauvignon matches very well with this first grape variety.
For several generations, the Vellas family estate has been concentrating its activity on traditional terroirs in order to offer you vintages of character.
