White wine from France, Bordeaux, A.O.C. Bordeaux, A.O.C. Pessac-Léognan
Château de Rochemorin is an invigorating white wine and appreciated for centuries. Originally, this Pessac Léognan appellation wine made the owner of Château de Rochemorin happy, who is none other than the famous philosopher Montesquieu. Like him, you will be raving about this round and aromatic vintage .
The vintage was marked by a dry winter and spring and then by a dry summer, which led to earlier ripening. The grape varieties showcase 100% sauvignon , a white grape famous in the region. Château de Rochemorin shows a pale yellow dress dressed in green reflections. On the nose, you will be seduced by the freshness of floral notes and white fruit (peach). A hint of vanilla is added to this aromatic bouquet full of roundness. The mouth reveals a supple attack with a subtle fat. Expertly balanced, the medium reveals vanilla aromas accompanied by notes of exotic fruits (pineapple and lemon). The finish is representative of its terroir with a smoky touch.
At the table, this white wine easily accompanies a smoked salmon, cheese or even a chicken with oyster mushrooms.
