Grand Vin Blanc de Bourgogne (France) - 100% Chardonnay - Millesime 2019
Olivier Leflaive - Burgundy "Les Setilles" is a Grand White Wine from Burgundy. It is a sumptuous white wine where the know-how of the winemaker, Olivier Leflaive explodes and impresses.
Originating from some sixty plots extending among others, on the famous communes of Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, its vineyards are all located at an altitude of over 230 m and benefit from a clay-limestone and clay soil.
Vinified as the biggest wines of Burgundy, this white wine "Les Setilles", is raised from 7 to 9 months mainly in barrels and for many, in new ferts.
The vineyard respects principles and methods of reasoned wrestling while the grapes are harvested 100% manually. Low yields, old vines (medium age: 45 years) complete this vinification worthy of the greatest domains of the region.
This wine is exclusively composed of the Chardonnay grape variety which provides this white wine with impressive custody potential, aromas of white flowers, white flesh fruits and grilled dried fruits (almonds). It keeps a sublime minerality while providing the mouth with a beautiful attack, rich, round and full with a final note full of greed.
Enjoy this Rare Grand Vin de Bourgogne at a temperature between 10 and 12°C.
Perfect for your party aperitifs, it will perfectly accompany cold meats or mole cheese.
