White Wine of France PDO Languedoc - Pic-Saint-Loup
The wine Bories des Fontans 2013 Vieilles Vignes from the Nicolas Vellas’ vineyards has a Protected Designation of Origin and was bottled at the property. As a wine lover or a connoisseur of the Pic-Saint-Loup’s wines, you will have the pleasant feeling of rediscovering all the qualities and characteristics of the grape varieties specific to the region: roussanne, marsanne and viognier.
Rousanne is an ancient and noble grape variety. It produces white wines with a remarkable bouquet and brings a lot of elegance to the colour and external appearance. Marsanne is also one of the ancient grape varieties and blends in very well with Roussanne. Its aromatic potential is very powerful. Finally, Viognier sublimates white wines by bringing them great finesse and a touch of smoothness.
The wine Bories des Fontans 2013 Vieilles Vignes by Nicolas Vellas comes from a clayey limestone soil and has been aged in barrels on the Roussanne and Marsanne grape varieties. This vintage presents to the eye a bright golden yellow colour and will know how to satisfy the delicate nose with its citrus, apricot and honey notes.
This white wine is rich and creamy in the mouth and can be enjoyed on its own or with the following dishes: grilled fish, scallop shells or cheese platter. Packaging: 75 cl.
