Its natural location is ideal. The vineyard extends over the slopes of the Var at an altitude of 200 meters over groundwater which naturally feeds the place.

Its stony soil, clay and limestone is conducive to the rooting of the vines. It is rich in trace elements and allows the terroir to express the full range of its flavors.

The vineyard is maintained and developed by men and women of passion. The alternation of hot and sunny days and then the coolness of the night shapes the latter.

The vines of Château Favorite have around 40 hectares to flourish in the hillsides of the Var . The estate also has vines from the planting campaigns of the 1970s, ensuring the grains have an optimal concentration of aromas.

The grape variety consists of Merlot at 80% and Colombar at 20% . Selection and assembly are carried out by Gilles Baude .

This Favorite Château has a robe with a brilliant disc, with lychee reflections . On the nose, we can guess notes of mirabelle plums , accompanied by rose petals. On the palate, its attack is fresh and supple . We observe a retro-olfaction of mirabelle plum, a perfect balance between acidity and bitterness , a delicate evolution for a drinkable finish .

The estate is conducted in organic farming and is certified AB FR BIO-B10. The vines are also managed using the principles of biodynamic .

The latter will go perfectly with tasting a plate of cold meats, cheeses or raw vegetables.
