Red wine from France, PDO Corbières, Nicolas Vellas, 2016
Triple OAK is a Corbières with traditional vinification of the three Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan grapes and carbonic on Syrah offers a powerful and noble wine. Then the winemaker goes through aging in oak barrels for 36 months.
On tasting, we discover a pretty dress with deep purple hues. First intense nose very marked by small black fruits. Next come more roasted, slightly vanilla notes.
On the palate, the attack is silky and with it comes the black fruits. The mouth of t cocoa spices is voluminous with tannins present but well melted. Rich in character and well balanced.
This magnificent Corbières will perfectly accompany your spicy dishes in sauce, game, grilled red meats and hard cheeses.
