This 2015 Opta Reserva is a complex and rich Portuguese red wine. Produced in the Dão region, it benefits from its controlled designation of origin. We find there the three varieties Touriga Nacional, Afrocheiro and Tinta Roriz where the vines draw their water deep in a clay-limestone soil.

The producer, Nuno Cancela de Abreu, vinifies the grapes with expertise and then matures his wine during 9 months of training in barrels.

He offers us a complex red wine with a beautiful intense ruby ​​color. Its nose reveals scents of red fruits such as raspberries, cherries and redcurrants with notes of tobacco and mocha.

On the palate, this Opta Reserva 2015 wine is full-bodied but subtle with its soft tannins. It confirms the fruits found in the nose. A pleasant feeling of long and persistent freshness.
