Features
The colour is ruby red with delicate purple tinges. An intense and persistent olfactory expression with references to berries, spirited cherries and ripe fruit. Pleasant spicy flavours and delicate sensa- tions reminiscent of wood and flowers. In the mouth, the exciting crispness of Barbera harmonises a high yet absolutely pleasant alcohol content. It reveals the typical intensity and persistence of a great wine.

Wine-making process
Destemming and fermentation in stainless steel vats for about 10-12 days.
Ageing
After malolactic fermentation, 30-40% of the whole mass is kept in French oak casks where it refines. The remaining part will complete ageing in large Slavonian oak casks. After blending and further ageing in stainless steel vats, the wine is bottled and left to evolve in bottle.
Pairings
It is the pleasant accompaniment for appetizers, pasta and risotto, white and red meat main courses and aged cheese. Paired with fish dishes the delicate tannic sensation can surprise.
