Red wine from Bordeaux A.O.C. Margaux, 5th Grand Cru classified in 1855, Vintage 2017
Château Dauzac 2017 is a red wine from Bordeaux with the Margaux appellation of origin. Based on the left bank of Bordeaux, the property is one of the greatest estates to benefit from the greatest growths of the Médoc and its wine has been classified 5th great growth since 1855. It dominates the Gironde with no less than 42 hectares of vines on a soil made up of deep gravel and a gravelly and clayey subsoil. The latter escaped the spring frost, which allowed the grapes to be harvested at optimal maturity.
A meticulous respect of the procedures from the vines to the winery, combined with a rigorous intra-plot selection, have resulted in the production of a qualitative and refined Château Dauzac 2017. The blend of this vintage is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (70%) and completed by Merlot at 30%. A pretty red colour bursting with purity invites you to discover an aromatic palette of great richness. Fruits and spices are revealed as soon as the attack on the palate. The Cabernet Sauvignon brings structure to the tannic structure while the Merlot brings all its roundness. The finish is greedy and representative of the marvellous work of the winegrower this year.
