Spanish Red Wine, DOP Jumilla
PRESENTATION :
EGOBODEGAS is located a few kilometres from the historical city of Jumilla, in the Spanish region of Murcia. The grapes were chosen from the best plots, selecting only those that could express exactly what we were looking for to make this wine.
Harvest: manual, end of September, at night or very early in the morning.
Sorting table: every grape that does not conform is eliminated.
Long maceration : fermentation and maceration were carried out in contact with the skin in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats over a period of 15 to 25 days .
Aging : 3 months in French oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES :
Colour : Cherry red colour.
Nose : Beautiful intensity both fruity and spicy .
Palate : The palate is supple, elegant and fruity, with notes of plum and spices, a finish with ripe tannins and lightly toasted.
Gourmet Suggestions : Beef ribs à la Provençale, roast chicken, steak and chips salad.
